Hotel Castelmar is a beautiful hotel located in the historic center of Campeche. The building that houses it dates back to the year 1800, when it was initially built for use as army barracks. Later, it was transformed into one of the first hotels in the city of Campeche. Hotel Castelmar has been recently refurbished and continues to offer its services to the public. Life here moves at a slower pace and we guarantee a very relaxing and laid-back vacation.

The hotel is located in the historic center of Campeche (declared a World Heritage Site in 1999 by UNESCO) and just a few steps from the sea. It is surrounded by historic buildings, colonial houses, churches, forts, souvenir shops, museums, the convention center, bars and restaurants. The city's airport is located only 15 minutes from the hotel.

In 2004, this hotel was completely remodeled, respecting the original architecture but installing modern amenities such as wireless internet, direct dial telephones, satellite TV, swimming pool and air conditioning, among others. This is indeed an excellent hotel for all kinds of travelers.

Standard
The standard guestrooms are beautifully decorated with modern touches, all the while preserving some of the original decor such as the tiled floors and colonial style ceilings. All our Standard Guestrooms feature free Wireless Internet and continental breakfast.
