Banff National Park

The park was "discovered" by employees of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1883 who were found with caves of thermal waters in the east of the Rocky Mountains. Soon the Government of Canada appointed to this area over 6600 square kilometers as the first National Park of Canada.
