Bitter End's shops provide such variety that you can pick up anything from
essentials you left at home to mementos and gifts unique to Bitter End.

Restock your galley at the Emporium. Wine, beer, liquor and an assortment of
fresh baked goods, meats and fish, and other staples are available.
The Chandlery, located across from the marina, stocks many maintenance items as
well as charts, boathooks, and other useful tools and parts for boat maintenance

Beachfront Villa
The unique architectural design of our famous original cottages offers you the
opportunity to truly enjoy the natural environment for which they were built.
All villas have two twin beds or one king-size bed, ceiling fan, refrigerator,
coffee maker, large dressing area and shower with sea view, and a wrap-around
porch with a double-size hammock. They are designed to catch the balmy trade
winds night and day.
North Sound Suite
Our most spacious accommodations are located on the south end of the property in
twenty secluded bungalows spread across a flowered hillside of bougainvillea,
hibiscus, and oleander rising high above a white sand beach and palm-shaded
pool. They boast panoramic views of the Bitter End anchorage and North Sound.
Each suite has a ceiling fan, refrigerator, coffee maker, air-conditioning,
TV/VCR available upon request, either one king bed or two queen beds, and a
front deck with table and chairs.
Estate House
A spacious two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom private house with spectacular
views of the anchorage of North Sound and the Caribbean. The living room and
screened-in porch make these accommodations perfect for two couples or a family
of up to six. The estate house is equipped with a king size bed and two double
beds with up to two roll-away beds, air-conditioning, refrigerator, coffee
maker, and wet bar.
Freedom 30s
The Freedom 30 yachts are berthed at the Quarterdeck Marina and are fully
equipped for inter-island cruising. They accommodate four people and receive
full Hotel services and amenities while docked at Bitter End. Fully equipped and
provisioned galley, head with shower and pressure water, navigation station,
diesel engine, and easy-to-sail rig make the Freedom 30 ideal for cruising and

Restaurants
The Clubhouse Steak and Seafood Grille is Bitter End's landmark restaurant that
emphasizes generous buffets and table service for breakfast, lunch and dinner,
as well as cocktail service on the terrace all day and evening.
Breakfast features homemade pastries and breads, eggs, pancakes, French toast
and Belgian waffles, fresh local fruit and more.
Lunch includes a large selection of salads and sandwiches as well as hamburgers,
lobster cakes and, of course, dessert!
Dinner features our famous homemade soups, a large selection of salads, pasta,
poultry, steaks and fresh-caught fish and lobster. A generous selection of
homemade desserts is always offered. Winston, founder of Winston's Bakery, is
known around the world for his imagination and light touch in providing the
breads, pastries, and luscious desserts for the resort every day.
Famed Virgin Island sailor, Basil Symonette, built the restaurant's original bar
from the wreck of Huey Long's splendid yacht, Ondine. The yacht's mainmast was
used as the center post in the Grille and today, over 20 years later, is still a
conversation piece. Hundreds of burgees from yachts and yacht clubs all over the
world decorate the ceiling, fluttering in the breeze of paddle fans.
On the south end of the property, the beautiful open-air English Carvery is open
for dinner and special evening events. The restaurant features salad served
table-side and a buffet with a magnificent selection of roast meats and local
seafood dishes.
The views, the candlelight, and the intimate ambience at the English Carvery
provide the perfect spot for a romantic dinner.
Special Theme Dinners are served on the Almond Walk, where you can dine and
dance under the stars to our own steel drum band, The Reflections.
You can also enjoy dinner under the stars aboard the 59' Corinthian during a
Dinner Cruise on North Sound.
For those wanting a snack during the day, homemade pizza, West Indian rotis,
Cuban sandwiches, chicken, hot dogs and other items may be purchased at The Pub,
located at The Emporium, across from the Quarterdeck Club.
Cocktails/Bars
All guests are invited to join the Bitter End's managers for cocktails and hors
d'oeuvres each Monday evening at the Almond Walk.
The Pub is a full service bar with an extensive selection of rums and beers; it
is open 'til the wee hours.
Join fellow travelers on the Clubhouse Patio and enjoy our famous 16 Sounders,
Bitter End's own frozen rum concoctions. The Clubhouse Bar is open daily from
