Habitat Curacao Resort is located on a secure, private estate 20 minutes from the capital Willemstad. The resort is in the secluded, unspoiled South West Coast. We are near to Christoffel National Park, Boca Tabla Marine Park, Knip Beach and other local attractions. You will see Habitat next to the neighboring Porto Marie beach on most maps.

Ocean View
Habitat Curacao Resort's premier accomodation commands breathtaking views of the ocean, stunning colors of the reef, and spectacular sunsets at dawn. As you relax on the outdoor patio or balcony, you can gaze out and enjoy the view, read, or take a nap to the soothing sounds of gentle waves rolling into shore.
All Ocean View rooms are air-conditioned and feature two queen-size beds, private bath, telephone, cable television, in-room safe, kitchenette and an outdoor patio or balcony. This premiere accommodation is the top choice of honeymooners, spa-goers and those who enjoy a view of the ocean while spending extra time relaxing on their private patio or balcony.
Garden View
A favorite with our Habitat regulars, the Garden View accomodations have sweeping views of tropical landscaping, and some have pool or partial ocean views. Each room has an outdoor patio or balcony where you can enjoy watching the hummingbirds and monarch butterflies fluttering through the Hibiscus and Frangipani blossoms.
Garden View rooms are all air-conditioning with two queen-size beds, private bath, telephone, cable television, in-room safe, kitchenette and an outdoor patio or balcony. These comfortable and attratively-decorated rooms are also the closest to the pool and restaurant area.
Lanai Villas
Habitat 's Lanai Villas are perfect for families and groups. A Lanai Villa has two air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own private bath, telephone, cable television and a shared outdoor patio with a living area and kitchentte. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other has two twin-size beds. There are no connecting doors between each bedroom, but the shared outdoor patio is covered and allows you to walk from one bedroom to the other
The Lanai Villas are perfectly siturated and are just a short stroll to the beach, pool, restaurant, meeting rooms and dive dock, and surround Habitat's seawater water lagoon and lush landscaping, where guests often spot wild parrots perched in the nearby Frangipani and Flamboyant trees.

Habitat Curacao Resort provides live music at Ocean's restaurant and bar on Monday, Friday and Sunday. We also have regular presentations on local nature and marine life on Tuesday evenings. On Wednesday Habitat also provides guests with a roundtrip Casino trip. We also have regular guest speakers, and arts workshops to enjoy. In addition the resort has a game room and every room has cable television showing US channels, Spanish and Dutch language programming. However, our guests favorite activity is enjoying our gorgeous views.

At Habitat Curacao Resort, you can enjoy our beach, and extraordinary snorking and diving. Tour the neighboring art gallery and stop to check out our nearby flamingo sanctuary.
Nearby Christoffel Park has hiking and leisurely private trail rides to a stunning white sand beach.
With a rental car you can explore the sea turtle nesting grounds at the awe inspiring Boca Tabla sea caves. Or, visit the exciting Hato Caves with majestic stalactite formations.
Golfers will enjoy playing a round at nearby Blue Bay Golf Club which has stunning panoramas over the Ocean.
Kids "of all ages" love swimming with the Dolphins at Curacao's Dolphin Academy. Another terrific experience is a safari around Curacao's Ostrich Farm where you can even hold a softly chirping baby ostrich.
Curacao is one of the best places in the world to Windsurf, and sail and every kind of watersport can be arranged for you at Habitat's front desk.
In the evenings, there are many fine dining choices at Habitat and at the island's many restaurants located in historic restored hilltop forts and plantation homes. After dinner, a flutter at one of Curacao's elegant casinos is always popular. And on Wednesdays, Habitat provides a special casino trip for guests.

Located in a plantation home that dates back to 1650. Serving exquisite gourmet food in a relaxed casual Caribbean setting. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chef's menu changes weekly. You will need your own car to get there or our drivers can drop you off. Serving French and Italian Cuisine with a Caribbean twist.

Jaanchis Restaurant - Westpoint
A must during your stay. Don't ask for a menu, local celebrity Jaanchi himself will tell you all about the delicious authentic Caribbean specials including fresh fish. Open for lunch. In a charming rustic setting surrounded by hundreds of birds. A great stop on the way to Knip beach or after visiting the Christoffel National Park.
Snacks Located around Curacao.
Roadside cafes or snacks sell "Pastechi" in the morning. These tasty pastries are filled with chicken, tuna, or Dutch cheese. Snacks sell lots delicious treats for a real taste of Curacao try some while you are exploring.
Near the Shuttle Drop Off Point in Willemstad
The Gouverneur Otrabanda Facing Curacao's famous skyline, this excellent, informal restaurant has it all. Watch cruise ships sail past 18th century houses or enjoy a table in the romantic courtyard. Very easy to get with fantastic views, food and atmosphere. Don't leave without going there for dinner.
Jaipur and Astrolab - Hotel Kura Hulanda Otrabanda This 5 star Hotel has two superb restaurants. Stroll around Caribbean mansion houses in an impeccably restored Caribbean village setting. Delightful in the evening.
Sophisticated and Trendy
Avalon Sali This restaurant has it all. Great design, outstanding service and the food. Well let's just say It's very, very good indeed. Close by the popular "Living Room" nightclub.
Great Nightlife
Tu Tu Tango Punda A hotspot at the weekends this charming courtyard restaurant has a different theme each night. Check our listings guide K-pasa for what's on. Good for dancing and mixing with local 20 and 30 somethings on Friday nights.
Mambo Beach Marie Pampoen Casual dining and serious partying at this popular open-air hotspot. Tuesday nights there is movie under the stars. Fridays and Saturdays nights fill up with dancing Europeans having a great time.
