Description of Tour:
A fine blend of a tour! A mix of history, culture, and natural beauty. Driving
through the centre of Castries, you'll pass by the Cathedral and the Derek
Walcott Square, with it's huge and graceful 400-year old Samaan tree, as well as
the old Military Barracks at Morne Fortune, now a thriving Educational Complex.
After viewing the banana plantations of the Cul-de-Sac and Roseau Valleys, we'll
visit the island's rum distillery where you will find the true spirit of St.
Lucia Culture, The Rhythm of Rum. Discover how rum is linked to St. Lucia's
history with lifelike displays of times gone by, a cane cutter and his family,
and old fashioned street scene, and the colors, sounds and sights of the
carnival floats and displays in the Carnival room. Great photo opportunities! A
guided tour of the factory will give you an insight into the distilling process,
which allows you the opportunity to sample the local blends of different
liqueurs and rum, and a chance to sample before you buy (at great factory
prices!). Following a visit to a local bar perched on the edge of a Mangrove
thicket, for local fish cakes and a drink; you'll end up with time at Marigot
Bay, which is known as the prettiest harbor in the Caribbean. A great way to
sepend a tropical afternoon. All purchses are your responsibility.

Reservations
For reservations, please call Sunmex vacations within
48 hours of your arrival to reserve the specific time and date of your tour.
Clients must contact Sunmex vacations to receive a
voucher and all of the necessary details of their tour.
Once customers have received a confirmation from a Sunmex vacations Services Representative, the tour is non-refundable.
Other information: Children ages 2-11 receive a reduced rate for this tour.
