Manzanillo has 12 beaches. This place has become a major tourist destination by
dint of its excellent beaches, water sports and sail fishing. Historically an
important seaport before Spanish conquest now it has metamorphosed itself as
popular site chosen by the tourist all over the world. The real attraction is in
not in the town but in the nearby tourist attractions and the beaches. It is
known as the Sailfish Capital of the World, a reputation which draws annual
international and national competition.

facility in terms of tennis, golf and huge facility for water sports.

Manzanillo the "Sailfish Capital of
the World", is without a doubt, one of the most scenic
destinations in all of Mexico. Located on the pacific coast 150
miles south of Puerto Vallarta and 250 miles North of Acapulco.
Boca de Pascuales, Colima, Mexico
Boca de Pascuales on the coast of the State of Colima
is a surfers dream, or nightmare, a rivermouth beach break with some of the
biggest, hollowest, fastest tubes in Mexico. The waves break both right
and left with enormous power.
To get to Pascuales: Flights are available to
either Manzanillo (international) or Colima (from Mexico City), in the state of
Colima. US air lines arrive directly in Manzanillo. The city of Tecoman is
about an hour from either by car, follow the sign from downtown (about 10 km.).
Buses are available to Tecoman and either taxis (cheap) or local buses or combis
(cheaper) are easy transportation to Pascuales Beach.

Bring your boards, dudes!
Playa L'Recif
A small, pebble-strewn beach where the wave action can be spectacular. When
calm, the diving and snorkeling is great because of the huge coral reef just a
few yards off shore.

Come just for the view, both above
and below the water. A word of caution: at this site the
ocean conditions can change rather quickly, so if you plan to be
in the water be aware at all times. The photo-taking
opportunities from the top of the hill will make your trip
enjoyable, no matter what.
Land Sports You can also
visit the Colima Volcano, one of the worlds most active,
play tennis or go horseback riding. Puerto Vallarta Is 120 miles
north, about a 3 hour drive for the adventurous souls.
Golf courses There are 4 golf courses,
Las Hadas, where the movie "10" was filmed, has an 18th hole
island green in the Pacific Ocean and is rated one of the top
100 in Golf Digest. Club Santiago is a municipal style 18 hole
course, El Tamarindo 18 holes, and the best of all is Isla
Navidad/ Blue Bay Golf Course with its 27 holes that is
magnificently designed and maintained.
