Each of the suites have personally decorated with unusual fabrics and treasures gathered by the resort's owners during their travels around the world. A large living area contains a color TV, CD/DVD Player and minibar. The bedroom has a king size bed which can be changed for a double bed if desired. A huge marble bathroom with a sunken bath for two, glass showers and handcrafted sinks adjoins the bedroom. Both the bedroom and living room open onto a large private terrace with a plunge pool and double sun lounger.

One bedroom Suites with Terrace (Upper Level)

These suites are located on the first or second floor. A large living area contains a color TV, CD/DVD Player and minibar. The bedroom has a king size bed which can be changed for a double bed if desired. A huge marble bathroom with a sunken bath for two, glass showers and handcrafted sinks adjoins the bedroom. The living room opens onto a large private terrace with a hammock and double sun lounger.

Bali Suite (Presidential Suite)

The Bali Suite is a private villa with two master bedrooms, each with their own on suite bathrooms with sunken baths, glass showers and handcrafted sinks. Adjoining each bedroom is its own large living area containing color TV, CD/DVD Player and a minibar. The suite also has its own kitchen and a dining room with seating ability for 10 people. A plunge pool and private wrap around terrace offer the ultimate in privacy.

ARRIVE IN STYLE
Your pampering begins upon your arrival at Cancun Airport. A Chauffeur will be there to meet you in one of our luxurious Lincoln Navigators. Ice cold towels and bottled water await you inside the vehicle to help refresh you after your flight. After a short 20 minute drive you will arrive at our little paradise. This complimentary service is at your disposal for both arrivals and departures.
If you are looking for the ultimate in luxury, you can also charter our helicopter to come and fetch you at the airport. The Hotel has a helipad on the property and the flight from the airport is short and very pleasant. It is also a unique way to first see the beauty of the Yucatan Peninsula.

MEETING FACILITIES
Apart from the luxury of relaxing, Paraiso de la Bonita is also able to offer you the best facilities for group incentives or congresses. There is a large 1, 400 square foot meeting room which can be customized for special events. We are able to cater for cocktails of up to 70 people within the room and special audio visual equipment and wireless technology is also available.

LA BONITA CATAMARAN
"La Bonita" is a 48ft long luxurious catamaran which is decorated in the same style as the suites in the Hotel. There is an art filled living room and four cabins, each one decorated in its own unique style with air conditioning and an en suite bathroom. Here you can enjoy the same high level of excellence in service, elegance and unique attention to details as you would find in the Hotel. "La Bonita" is available for private day cruises, moonlight dining, cocktail parties or overnight excursions. You can almost feel your stress slipping away as you enjoy the sun and the gentle Caribbean breeze while sipping on your favorite cocktail

The ocean is the source of all life with seawater containing all the elements that are fundamental for every life form. Thalassotherapy is the therapeutic use of seawater, marine algae and marine mud in various treatments for the body.

Thalassotherapy incorporates the use of comfortably warm seawater with its living organisms to reload the body with minerals and trace elements which are absorbed through the skin by a process of osmosis.

The word "Thalasso" comes from the Greek word meaning ?ocean?, thereby explaining the literal meaning of the word Thalssotherapy - therapy from the ocean. Natural salt water which is taken at a certain depth from the bottom of the ocean and its marine elements such as seaweed, thermal clay, plankton and phytoplanlton are some of the indispensable elements that are used in Thalassotherapy.

Thalassotherapy itself dates back to ancient times and numerous testimonies of its use can be found in Greece and Rome where it was developed and from where it spread to other countries. During the 20th century its scientific stage was further developed due to the research conducted by a number of medical institutions who were able to prove the effective therapeutic qualities of this concept.

The 22,000 square foot Thalasso Center is the first European Thalasso Spa in North America and is a temple of healing and rejuvenation for the body, mind and soul. Applying the ancient regimen of the curative benefits of the sea, the center offers an extensive menu of treatments featuring seawater, marine algae and mineral rich mud. Fresh seawater that has been heated to body temperature is used in a variety of therapies. Modern Thalasso applications now enhance stress reduction, weight loss, anti-cellulite, muscle and joint healing amongst other therapeutic uses. The Center uses only Thalgo products from Europe and all the therapists are trained and certified specialists in Thalassotherapy.

The Center also offers a beachside exercise center, fitness classes, yoga and a large saltwater hydrotherapy pool which is used for treatments as well as for just lounging around and enjoying the surrounding scenery. You can also experience the ancient Mayan healing ceremony of the ?Temazcal? - a traditional steam with herbal essences. This ancient ritual is held with a Shaman, who will guide you through the various stages of this unique and unforgettable experience.

In our fine dining restaurant, La Canoa, you can experience his unique "Cuisine de los Soles", a fusion of styles based upon the spices and chilies used in the cuisine of warm weather countries. Paraiso features two distinctive restaurants as well as a beachside grill and pool bar for light meals. Private Dining is also available in various beautiful settings around the property. The resort's Library Bar has an extensive reading collection and soothing ocean views, making this a relaxed and inviting meeting place for guests.

La Canoa

The elegant La Canoa features French chef Fabrice Guissets "La Cuisine de los Soles" - a dramatic fusion of styles based upon the spices and chilies used in the cuisine of warm weather countries. Guisset builds on these savory blends combining ingredients into dishes that awaken the palate and stimulate the senses. In this elegant restaurant you will be sure to experience fine dining at its best and most creative.

Kaax (Mayan word meaning "Jungle")

As you enter Kaax, the first thing you notice are the hand painted murals depicting the flora and fauna of the region that surrounds you. However, it is the wonderful Mexican menu that adds the true authenticity and sets this restaurant apart from the other Yucatan dining experiences. Our chef has drawn on the traditions of the region by staying true to the original recipes but has added his own modern touches and presentations. Waiters are at had to explain each dish to you as you discover a whole new gourmet experience.

El Chiringuito (Mayan word meaning "Pelican")

This casual open air Oceanside grill offers a variety of fresh seafood, chicken and meats grilled to perfection on a wood fire using the native hardwood, "Zapote". Guests may also enjoy "Chilpachole" - a traditional light Mexican seafood stew served in a clay pot - or one of the fresh pizzas baked in the outdoor wood fired oven. Situated on the beach with a cool ocean breeze blowing through, this is the perfect setting for a relaxed outdoor meal.

Hippos Bar

Covered by a large Mayan "Palapa" which provides a cool shelter from the sun and overlooking the pool and the ocean is Hippos Bar - the heart of Paraiso de la Bonita during the day. Our bartenders will be more than happy to mix up any cocktail for you to enjoy in this cool, tranquil and relaxed ambiance where people gather to chat and just have a good time. Apart from a variety of cocktails exclusively created by our bartenders, a menu with light snacks is available to accompany your drinks. At night, Hippos is the ideal place for a quiet pre dinner drink where a variety of Mexican snacks are available for you to try.
