These small animals have a great significance for local people, so much so that they have dedicated a temple to them at the top of Huixteco hill, the highest peak in Taxco.

Even though Taxco is a small town, it has a very diverse nightlife. It goes from typical bohemian bars with balconies showing a nice view of the main square to the most modern and lively nightclubs where the local people gather to dance to the rhythm of the latest hits.
