Ixtapa Zihuatanejo Tours and excursions

01 IXTAPA'S RESORT TOUR (3:00 Hrs.)
Pick-up from hotel at 4:00 p.m. to see Ixtapa's computed planned resort and residential areas, as well as the beautiful beaches, with a brief stop at Playa Quieta (Calm beach); across the Club de Golf Ixtapa (golf course) on the way to Zihuatanejo to visit the beautiful beaches and hotels, with a stop for shopping before you return to your hotel.

01A RESORT TOUR WITH DINNER (5:00 Hrs.)
Pick-up from hotel at 4:00 p.m. to follow same itinerary as TIP 01 with stop for a great dinner at Zihuatanejo's area.

02 COUNTRYSIDE TOUR WITH LUNCH (4:30 Hrs.)
Departure from your hotel al 11:00 a.m. First stop is Agua de Correa (where many workers from Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo live), from there, visit a Plantation of coconut, mango, papaya and grapefruit. After that, to Barra de Potosí Lagoon where you will see many wild birds: have lunch and a refreshment before returning to your hotel.

03 HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR (1:20 Hrs.)
From a Playa Linda Ranch, on the outskirts of Ixtapa, you will mount a docile horse and be accompanied by an experienced horseman-guide. You will ride to the Pantla river to visit the rustic country side.

04 ONE DAY TRIP TO ACAPULCO (Full Day)
Departure at 7:00 a.m. from your hotel. In route, stop for continental breakfast. You will have a chance to see very beautiful sea views on the way. Arrive in time for sightseeing to the most interesting places including the Princess Hotel, residential and shopping areas and the world famous La Quebrada with its High Cliff Divers. Stop for a delicious lunch during the tour. Return to your hotel in the evening. Air conditioned service.

09 SMALL GAME FISHING (4:00 to 7:00 Hrs.)
Departure at 7:00 from Zihuatanejo's Pier aboard a chartered boat. Experienced Captain and his assistant will provide bait and tackle. Beer and soft drinks for sale on board. They will troll near the shore line, one to three miles. Very good chances for Bonito, Pargo, etc.

10 DEEP SEA FISHING (7:00 Hrs.)
Departure at 7:00 from Zihuatanejo's Pier aboard a chartered boat. Experienced Captain and his assistant will provide bait and tackle. Beer and soft drinks for sale on board. They will troll in deep sea, six to twelve miles. Go for the big ones, Sail Fish, Blue Marlin, Yellow Fin Tuna, etc.

11 LAS GATAS BEACH PARTY WITH LUNCH (5:30 Hrs.)
 Depart at 10:00 a.m. from your hotel to Zihuatanejo's Pier for a short boat ride to Las Gatas beach for great swimming and sunbathing. Lots of snorkeling here. Sea food lunch included. Return to pier and transportation to your hotel.

12 TOUR TO IXTAPA ISLAND WITH LUNCH (5:30 Hrs.)
At 10:00 a.m. departure from your hotel to Playa Quieta for a short boat ride to the island, fringed by four beautiful beaches. Swim, snorkel and/or sunbathe until your sea food lunch is served. Return transportation to pier and hotel.

14A TRIMARAN "TRI-STAR" SUNSET CRUISE (2:30 Hrs.) Depart at 5:00 p.m. from Puerto Mio pier to cruise the bay of Zihuatanejo and nearby places aboard this luxurious 65 ft. trimaran. Open bar.

15 TRIMARAN "TRI-STAR" SAIL & SNORKELING (4:00 Hrs.) Cast off to the beautiful white sand beach and coral reef of Playa Manzanillo. Snorkeling, swimming and shell collecting. Party back to the bay and anchor in front of Playa La Ropa for a ride on our 2400 sq.ft. spinnaker. Lunch and open bar included.

16  FIESTA MEXICANA (4:00 Hrs.)
Starts at 7:00 p.m. Includes open bar, Mexican buffet with the best of Mexican specialties, mariachi, show with Mexican folkloric ballet, contest, raffles, and more. Fun for all the family.

17 HISTORICAL PETATLAN
Departure at 10:30 a.m. to Zihuatanejo's Archeology Museum where a guide will show you and explain you pre-Colombian and colonial vestiges from this area. Then to the quaint town of Petatlán where we will visit the main plaza, the traditional produce market, as well as the famous Church of "Cristo Jesús de Petatlán" where many miracles are said to have happened. After that, a tour to the open-air gold market for some shopping. On our way back, we will stop to offer you a delicious Mexican style BBQ chicken lunch in a very popular country-side restaurant.
