Tour Description
The name of the island means "Island of the Women".
It was named that by the Spaniards because when they first stopped at the
fishermen's village, they found thousands of statues of women. Mayan women would
also give birth to their children on this island. On this tour, you will enjoy a
full day of exploring the island, including snorkeling time.
What's Included?
The price includes a boat ride to Isla Mujeres, a
bilingual guide, snorkeling time and lunch. Transportation to and from the pier,
snorkeling equipment, a conservation fee of $2 per person and drinks on the boat
and in the restaurant are not included. The tour lasts approximately 10 hours.
The boat is handicapped (wheelchair) accessible, but people in wheelchairs may
have difficulty in the island sand.
